James Earl Jones (born January 17, 1931) has [http:// died] at the age of foo. Well known for his distinctive voice in movies 2 video games and commercials. He was also an accomplished stage and film and TV actor and won two Tonys. First for The Great White Hope in 1969, whose film adaptation netted him an Oscar nomination, and second for Fences in 1989. He has performed at the White House and on Broadway.

Many people who know him for his voice work do not know that Jones stuttered because he developed a situational fluency while acting. Ray Murdoch in the movie A Family Thing was not written to be a stutterer; however, the director heard Jones stuttering while reading his lines and incorporated stuttering into the Ray character.
