Image Links

Embedding images with standard HTML code used to be permitted, but since October 22, 2006 they've been stripped during posting/commenting because of security concerns. MeFites are still able to link to images, but they cannot be displayed in-thread, as on other forums. The continued lack of image tags has inspired front page posts about ASCII art.

In-thread images from mods

Every now and again, the mods flex their might and embed images in threads. Here are some of those images. Some are MetaFilter-related images, some are not.
