Hoder
The Mefite known as Hoder is Iranian blogger Hossein Derakhshan. He was instrumental in promoting blogging in Iran, and an instigator in online protests of Iranian media censorship in 2004, actions which earned him the scorn of the Iranian government. Hoder was arrested on November 1, 2008. Almost two years later, on September 28th, 2010 he was sentenced to 19½ years in prison. In mid-2011, Hoder's appeal was denied. On November 20, 2014 he was released from prison.
